Three Linguistics majors elected to Phi Beta Kappa

Three Linguistics majors who will be graduating in May 2017, Casey Boyette, Michael Drash, and Andreea Sandu, have been elected to Phi Beta Kappa. They will be inducted into the society on Sunday, April 30.

As the oldest and most distinguished honor society in the country, Phi Beta Kappa offers membership to less than one percent of all undergraduates. Many of the leading figures in American history and culture began their careers with election to the society, including 17 Presidents of the United States. Membership is a remarkable achievement.
